Healing is available:
Every Monday afternoon 12.30pm-2.30pm, From 2023 1st & 3rd Wednesday of Month, before Evening of Mediumship 5.30pm-7pm

Please feel free to just come along. You will be most welcome.
We have some wonderful dedicated healers that serve our church, and you don’t have to be particularly ill to benefit from spiritual healing. Our healing team is always looking for other dedicated people, who may wish to become healers or helpers to the healing team. Training will be given in a friendly and sincere atmosphere by experienced & fully qualified, insured spiritual healers.

There is a tendency for people to think that Spiritualist Healing is only done through faith or belief of the person requiring this form of healing. This is not true. A small child, or even an animal, does not know what faith is, and yet they receive healing in the same way as everyone else. If faith or a belief is required then this could be termed only as Faith Healing and this need not necessarily have a spiritual context behind it. The only requirement a patient should have is a respect for themselves and an open mind about the healer’s capability to be a channel for the healing force.

Spiritualist healing requires no faith or belief whatsoever on the part of the person seeking it; nor is it a requirement that the patient has the same religious belief as that of the Healer administering the healing. Spiritualist healing is not specifically related to any one religion but a common bond throughout all religions; they all believe that God or a Divine Source can heal, even though it be administered in different ways. Healing is relayed through the divine source of life which people term as God. The Healer is merely a channel for this type of energy and, as such, can neither direct or influence its natural process in any way. He is purely a passive channel for that energy.

There are, basically, two forms of Spiritualist Healing in use in this country. These are:

1.  Contact Healing – where the Healer places his/her hand either onto or near to a person; the one point contact is used as per the instructions in the Healing Code of Conduct; and

2.  Absent Healing – where the patient is not present in person but healing thoughts are directed to him/her.

Neither massage nor manipulation is permitted during Contact Healing. No patient should be asked to remove any clothing except for may be an overcoat or shoes.

Spiritualist Healing is not offered as an alternative to orthodox medicine but is complementary to it. People who are under medical care should always continue with the treatment their doctor has prescribed.

All Spiritualist National Union Healers work in accordance with a Code of Conduct. To ensure that Healing is received from a reputable Healer, patients should contact their local Spiritualist Healing Group.
